Crossing the bridge

Yes, for the first time today, I actually crossed the East falls bridge, meaning that I completed "the loop" along the Schuylkill. Add in 1.5 miles down along the waterworks, and you've got yourself 10 miles! That's right, 10 miles! It is very cool that every weekend for the last three weekends, I've been able to say, "this is the farthest I've ever run." Pretty great!
As always, it would have been so much harder had I not had the team with me, so thanks to them. AND, thanks to everyone's continued generosity, I've raised $3400! I definitely could not have done that without you. What a great day.!

I ran 8 miles yesterday

Yeah, that's right. I did it. Definitely could not have done it alone. Fortunately it was early in the morning and not as profanely hot as it had been the day before.
Speaking of, a team mate and I had a yard/bake sale on Saturday. It was certainly an interesting experience that did nothing to bolster my faith in humanity. It was a cross-section of society that I don't necessarily want to see again. Fortunately, the water sold well.
